Rivervale's Guide to the New Ford Fiesta

The Ford Fiesta remains the best selling car in the UK. We have an all-new model for 2018, so has Ford managed to make the best better?
Our Account Manager Abbie took a look around the new Ford Fiesta ST-Line ...
Exterior and Interior Features
The outside of the new Fiesta reveals some subtle tweaks. The bonnet has been smoothed out and you can now opt for an openable panoramic sunroof. Ford has listened to their customers feedback and made the following changes; windscreen wipers are now longer to clear 13% more of the windscreen, a 5 door option is available, and doors are now lighter requiring 20% less effort to close.

The Fiesta has grown slightly. It is 71mm longer and 12mm wider creating 16mm more leg room for rear passengers. The extra size has created a little more boot space with 292 litres with the rear seats up, increasing to 1093 litres with the rear seats folded down. You can also choose from a range of alloy wheel, roof, door mirror and body colour combinations to personalise your Fiesta.
The inside of the Fiesta has been treated to a more drastic makeover. The interior has an uncluttered, sleek, modern look. The majority of the buttons and knobs have been replaced by a central floating touchscreen. This screen comes in a range of sizes from 4.5" up to 8" and provides the means to link a smartphone and control the Fiesta's features.
Technology and driver aids
We have seen an increase in advanced technology usually associated with larger, premium vehicles making filtering down into the smaller models and the Fiesta is no exception.
As standard drivers will find Lane Keeping Alert and Lane Keeping Aid as well as a Speed Limiter, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and Hill Start Assist. At higher trim levels or as an option, advanced technology such as;
