2019 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Revealed!
This is the 2019 Porsche Cayenne Coupe! It is the newest addition to the Cayenne SUV line up! It combines great coupe styling and performance with the practicality of an elegant SUV, and is a direct rival for models like the Audi Q8 and BMW X6. The Rivervale guide provides all the details you need to know about price, specs and release date ...
2019 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Interior and Exterior Features?
Starting with the outside, the latest Porsche Cayenne Coupe looks much more progressive and athletic than the standard Cayenne SUV model, with the new model sporting a more heavily curved roofline and an almost 9-11 like silhouette.
The coupe is longer, lower, and almost 2 centimetres wider at the rear; although these are minimal changes, they make a big difference to the cars overall shape and presence.
In addition to a more handsome looking rear end, Porsche have added a new rear spoiler that improves the cars handling. Above 90mph, the adaptive rear spoiler extends and provides added downfalls on the rear axle.
First thing you notice, when you step inside, is the luxurious interior - the carbon-fibre elements really standout, and the Alcantara seats and steering wheel give it a unique and classy feel. Like the standard Cayenne, the Coupe shares a near identical dashboard layout, including the digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen that runs the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system.
Porsche Connect allows buyers access to various intelligent services and apps, including real-time traffic information, searching for restaurants and displays available parking spaces at your destination. Apple Car Play also comes as standard across the range. Before you hit the road, the My Porsche Portal, for example, will send your route to the navigation system in advance, check the fuel level or make sure that all doors and windows are closed, ensuring your drive goes as smooth as possible.
“The Coupe includes all the technical highlights of the current Cayenne, and its more dynamic design and new technical details position it as more progressive, athletic, and emotional”
- Porsche AG chairman Oliver Blume
Overall, the Cayenne Coupe has four seats as standard, with the two at the back separated by a centre armrest. In the back, the passenger seats sit 30mm lower than they do in the Cayenne, which is a plus for head room. The boot has a capacity of 625-litres, with 1,540-litres available with the rear seats folded down. Ambient lighting is an optional extra for buyers, which enables you to set different colours for each mood and also the light intensity itself.
A panoramic fixed glass sunroof comes as standard, which you can choose to replace with a lightweight carbon-fibre roof. If you opt for the drivers pack, you get 22-inch alloy wheels, extra styling touches and carbon-fibre interior trim pieces, including a sports exhaust on the Turbo Coupe. The standard specification includes 20-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking assistance, adaptable suspension and Porsche's Sport Chrono Package.
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe comes available in the following colours; Black, White, Jet Black, Carrara White, Jet Black, Dolomite Silver, Biscay Blue, Mahogany, Quartzite Grey (free of charge). Lava Orange (colour in the launch photos) and Chalk is also available, but only for an added cost.
