MINI convertible technology
You will find a range of MINI Connected services in your convertible to make sure you are connected while you are on the go, including;
- Remote services - from an app on your smartphone you will be able to locate your MINI and make the lights flash or view a map. You will also be able to check whether you remembered to put the windows up and lock the doors, if you've forgotten you can lock your doors from your smartphone.
- MINI connected service - this service provides a range of apps inside your MINI including finding the nearest garage when it's time to top up the fuel tank, as well as weather reports and finding nearby parking spaces for you.
- Natural language understanding - in the past voice control has relied on a few key phrases, but now your MINI will be able to understand natural language so you can ask your MINI questions in the same way you would Siri or Alexa.
- Real time traffic updates - your satellite navigation will look out for any hold ups on your journey, whether from a traffic jam, roadworks or an accident and can then offer an alternative route where possible to make sure you still reach your destination on time.
- MINI findmate - for those who find themselves always leaving the house with something important left behind, your MINI can help you. You can attach a Bluetooth tracking tag to your essential items so that if you get in the car without them, your MINI can let you know.
