Should Sebastian Vettel Be Booed?
Sebastian Vettel is regarded by many as the best Formula one driver of his generation. With many saying he could possibly be one day the greatest driver of all time. Some of his races are truly dominant with none of the other drivers coming close to matching his incredible speeds, so why is he constantly booed?
Well some say he is ruining Formula one, some suggest he is making it boring. For the health of the sport, hope is naturally being expressed from different observers and neutrals that the major change in regulations from next season shakes up the order. Surely this can’t be Vettel’s fault though, he is only doing his job, much like Red Bull are only doing their job by providing him with an excellent car. In the last 5-6 years Barcelona have dominated Spanish and European football with sublime football, fans worldwide no matter which you supported were in absolute awe of Barcelona, so why can’t it be the same with Formula One fans with Vettel.
Vettels rival Lewis Hamilton has furiously defended him by being quoted as saying-
Booing is just such a negative thing, especially when someone works so hard to be successful,’ said Hamilton.
’No-one should ever be booed for their success, no matter how easy or hard it has been for them to get to where they are.
Many fans have turned against Vettel because of an incident back in March at the Malaysian Grand Prix where Vettel passed Webber against Team Red Bull orders, which not only was dangerous but extremely bad sportsmanship as well.
