Tesla CyberTruck - First Look

The Cybertruck, which is Tesla's first electric pickup truck, has just been revealed by Elon Musk.

In a Cyberpunk inspired event, Elon Musk unveiled his latest creation with some awe-inspiring activities to show off the vehicles durability and military-style properties.

Tesla Cybertruck Offroad

Firstly, in true American hero fashion, a 9mm bullet was fired at the driver's door to show off the 'ultra-hard, cold-rolled, stainless steel' that they have developed.

Next came the glass demo, where the direct impact of a solid metal bearing was first placed onto regular car glass whereas you might expect it cracked and shattered on impact. To demonstrate the superior quality of the newly developed Tesla Armour Glass the bearing was taken to more than triple the dropping height to show no breakage whatsoever. Elon Musk was both surprised and humoured when in a later demonstration the glass actually broke!

What's so special?

The vehicle has adaptive air suspension, the rear is a whopping 6 and a half feet in length and can carry a payload of 3500lbs. It has 100cubic feet of lockable storage and can pull 14000lbs on tow.

The on-road performance is scary! A 0-60 time of just 2.9 seconds, it can achieve a 1/4 mile in 10.8 seconds and 'corners like its on rails'.

Tesla claims the off-road capabilities have never been seen before with both clearance and approach angles far better than any other road-legal vehicle ever created.

All this and the vehicle has full self-driving capability, auto park and trailer docking!
