Making a swift departure from models before, the Honda Civic is now firmly in its tenth generation and with it, showcases a fresh new level of style within its Hatchback or Saloon doors.
Offering luxurious support in leather trim, illuminated dashboard and heated front and rear seats with welcoming lumbar support, the Honda Civic also doesn’t shy away from a little get up and go. Say hello to power with a variety of small but punchy turbocharged engines, from 1.0-litre to three-cylinder petrol and you’ll be comfortably swept away.
Step inside and you’ll be surrounded by a whole host of cool technology, from Bluetooth and DAB radio to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. And the exterior? It’s brimming with the usual Honda boldness. All sharp and sophisticated angles, its gleaming pentagonal grilles and 16-inch alloy wheels make for an eye-catching ride.
Once on the road, the handling isn’t too shabby either. Sharp steering and a multi-link rear suspension in the chassis boasts a sporty ride. It also comes with all the usual advanced Civic safety additions, from auto city braking with pedestrian recognition and active lane-keeping. Meaning that wherever you’ve headed, the journey will be every bit as good as the destination.
