Polestar split from the Volvo name in July 2017 to start producing electric performance cars with a focus on progressive, experimental technologies. The Polestar 1 is a plug-in hybrid coupe that has a gas engine that combines with three electric motors and offers a total of 591 horsepower.
The Polestar 2 comes with cutting-edge safety features; their Advanced Driver Assistance System scans the road and everything around it, which can speed up, slow down or steer if necessary. Another safety feature is AEB, or Automatic Emergency Braking, to make sure you and the passengers are as safe as possible.
