The New Aston Martin Superleggera
The Vanquish S will soon be replaced with the Superleggera. It will be the most powerful production vehicle Aston Martin has ever released...
Superleggera - exterior features
On the outside of the Superleggera you will find an ultralight clamshell bonnet complete with a pair of gaping air vents to let the heat of the engine escape. The headlights and rear lights are all LEDs and the alloy wheels are 21" as standard.
To the rear is a fixed carbon fibre Aeroblade II. This and other more subtle aerodynamic design features are reported to create 180kg of down force, keeping you firmly on the road at any speed.
For those who want to check the Superleggera fits in the garage, the overall length is 4712mm, with a width of 2146 including the wing mirrors and a height of 1280mm. Superleggera translates as superlight and this Aston Martin is that, with lightweight materials used throughout the kerbside weight stands at only 1845kg.
