First Impressions

This car packs a punch when it comes to presence. With its sleek, clean lines and iconic BMW front grille, the 7 series is sporty and sophisticated in equal measure. It’s available in a range of beautiful colours, from Metallic Bernina Grey to Frozen Blue Stone. Choose from ten different wheel designs, with an 18-inch multispoke as standard. For an even sportier look, opt for the M sport trim.

Drivers can choose between long or short wheelbase versions of the 7 series, depending how much legroom is needed in the back. That said, the short wheelbase version can comfortably accommodate two adult passengers in the back.

What’s Inside?

There’s plenty of room here, including a generous boot, glove compartment and other useful storage spaces. Plus, there’s more than enough headroom and legroom - even in the shorter model. The driver’s seat features electric controls, including four-way lumbar adjustment and electric steering wheel movement as standard.

Only the finest materials and highest quality craftsmanship have been used here - think chrome accents, leather seats and ceramic-effect switches. The result? An interior cabin that oozes luxury and style.

Nappa leather seats are included as standard, available in five colour options. For added luxury, upgrade to merino leather or choose a different wood-trim finish. Ambient lighting makes this car look even better at night - choose from a range of different colours to suit your mood.

If the standard model isn’t quite luxurious enough, choose from a multitude of bespoke options to personalise the 7 series to your requirements. Want to make the rear seats even more comfortable for your passengers? Opt for BMWs Executive Lounge seating, which transforms the three rear seats to two, adding an electric footrest, electric adjustment, luxury floor mats and a front passenger seat that can be laid pretty much flat. You can also add rear screens mounted to the front seats or a tablet, allowing passengers to control the infotainment system.

On the Road

This automatic car hits all the right notes when it comes to performance. It’s quiet on the motorway and has a high-quality cabin that’s kitted out with all the latest tech.

The 7 series is available in petrol, diesel or plug-in hybrid. The most versatile option for most drivers is the 730D diesel. Fast, smooth and pretty quiet for a diesel, it can officially handle more than 40mpg. If you make lots of short journeys, the 745E plug-in will probably suit you better. Totally silent when travelling at low speeds, it can manage about 30 miles powered only by electricity. Switch to sport drive mode for an exhilarating drive on country roads.

The car features a huge 10-inch touch screen which sits high on the dashboard. As well as touch activation, it can be operated using the rotary dial, menu shortcut buttons by the front seats, or your voice.
