Vauxhall is a British manufacturer whose headquarters are located in Luton. It was founded by Alexander Wilson in 1857 and was originally called Alex Wilson and Co, the name 'Vauxhall' appeared in 1897 when the company name changed to Vauxhall Iron Works.
Vauxhall released their first car in 1903, it was steered using a tiller and had only 2 forward gears. After 70 were made in this way the model was updated to include reverse and a steering wheel. Now Vauxhall produce a range of cars spanning every body shape. Their city car the Vauxhall Adam is the smallest on offer while Vauxhall Zafira has space for 7.
