The All-New Peugeot Partner
The Peugeot Partner has had a makeover for 2018, with new crossover looks and new models available ...
Exterior and interior features of the new Peugeot Partner
The outside of the Partner has a more rugged look with a short bonnet and a definite SUV feel. The gear stick has moved up to the dashboard leaving space for three seats in the front. The middle seat is also a flexi-seat so can serve many functions. It can be folded flat to increase load length or used as a writing table turning the Partner into a home office.
You can also stay connected on your working day as your smartphone can be connected to the multi media interface via Mirror Screen. The 3D sat nav is connected and can be used with voice recognition while you are busy driving. Aside from the 8" infotainment screen you could opt to have Surround Rear Vision which provides views to the rear, a parking aid and a side passenger view in a choice of a split screen or full screen display.
Each Partner will come equipped with Peugeot's i-Cockpit which includes the 8" touchscreen, Head-up display and a compact steering wheel.
Peugeot Partner models available
There are now three Partner models to choose from depending on your needs. The Partner Asphalt prioritises comfort for those who are covering high mileages, the Partner Grip is designed for those regularly driving on a worksite or off-road and the Crew Van can carry up to 5 people.
The Peugeot Partner Asphalt
This model is perfect for those who have high mileage and is available in L1 or L2. The Asphalt uses several features to make sure your journeys are always as comfortable as possible including the following;
- Enhanced soundproofing
- Comfort seats
- Surround rear vision
- Adaptive cruise control
- Automatic electronic parking brake
- Automatic wipers and lights
- DAB radio and 8" touchscreen
- Manual air conditioning
The Peugeot Partner Grip
This version of the all-new partner is available in L1 or L2 and is designed for those who travel over varied terrain on a building site or off road so has the following features;
- Worksite pack: this pack includes increased ground clearance and enhanced traction
- Advanced grip control with 5 different modes to select based on the driving surface
- Hill Assist Descent Control to reduce the risk of slipping on steep slopes
- Storage spaces in the cabin totalling 113 litres
Peugeot Partner Crew Van
The crew van model can carry up to 5 passengers. The seat arrangement is flexible so you can choose from more seats or more loading space depending on your needs. The crew van is only available in L2 and has the following features;
- Mobile mesh bulkhead with flap for long loads
- Can be combined with the Worksite Pack
- Storage spaces totalling 113 litres in the cabin area
Peugeot Partner payloads and engines
The Asphalt and Grip Partner are available in L1 or L2, whereas the Crew Van is only available in L2. Internal storage can also be increased by folding down the central flexi seat, measurements can be seen in the table below;
Peugeot Partner payloads, load length and volume
|L1||1000kg||1.817m/3.09m with flexi seat||3.3m³/3.8m³ with flexi seat|
|L2||950kg Crew - 850kg||2.167m/3.44m with flexi seat||3.9m³/4.4m³ with flexi seat|
If you would like your Partner to keep an eye on your load for you, you could opt for an Overload Indicator. This clever piece of technology will let you know if you are close to reaching the maximum payload. This helps ensure your safety as exceeding the payload can lead to burst tyres and reduced braking efficiency as well as a nasty fine.
The exact engines for the all new Partner have yet to be confirmed but we would expect Peugeot's PureTech turbo petrol and Blue HDi diesel engines to be available from release in a range of power options with an electric version of the all new Partner to follow.
The All-New Peugeot Partner will be available to order from autumn 2018.
